Zimbabwe is currently facing a critical shortage of anti-retroviral drugs, the drugs that prolong the lives of persons infected with HIV. Within 3 months all government-funded distribution of the drugs is expected to cease completely leaving millions of Zimbabweans without support.

Local youth have come together and acted against this crisis by initatiating a Call to Artists. Talented, local artists have interpreted the theme “Seeing Red” and donated thought-provoking art pieces for a silent auction. The top 25 pieces have been selected for auction by a panel of local experts. In addition, final bids of the online auction of three beautiful sculptures donated by Zimbabean artists will be announced.  All funds raised will be sent to the Red Cross HIV/AIDS Home-Based Care Treatment Program in Zimbabwe.
